Emperor's chair
The wooden portable chair / bench in which Chinese emperors used to be carried was the starting point for furniture with a flexible character, a flexible place. Studio Ditte has designed both a chair and a bench that, in contrast with Chinese closed portable chairs, have a more open character. The furniture is remarkable for its seat, in which geometric shapes were milled.
